The London Bridge office adopted Meadowgate School in January 2007, entitling them to benefit from the annual "Adopt a School Fundraiser" held at the end of the summer term 2007. The Roxy Bar and Screen in London Bridge donated the venue for the fundraiser, free of charge. The resulting London Bridge Adopt a School Quiz Night was a very well attended and extremely enjoyable night. In all, over £500 was raised for Meadowgate School.

Meadowgate School specialises in moderate learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders. These pictures were taken during the assembly held to present the three trikes donated by Select Education, on 15th October 2007.

I am inundated with more vacancies than I can fill and I urgently need teachers in the following specialist areas. If you are still looking for Secondary work in English, Maths, PE or Science then I would love to talk to you!

We work closely with a number of Special Needs schools in our area and we always need good S.E.N teachers or qualified teachers that wish to move into this rapidly expanding field. If you have experience with MLD and EBD then you will already have some relevant skills which are easily transferable!

Equally for those teachers with experience with Autism, Dyslexia, Severe Learning Difficulties, Sign Language, ADHD, Makaton, TEAMTEACH, Epilepsy then we would love to hear from you.
