The employee is aged 19 or over.

Earning at least the National Minimum Wage and you must be able to supply wage slips or other payroll evidence if requested.

Works within the East Midlands region boundary

Do NOT already have an existing Full Level 2 qualification (including academic equivalents such as 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above).

Do NOT already receive funding for training, e.g. through Modern Apprenticeship, Care Standards Agency.

And you satisfy one of the following conditions:

• UK Citizen or
• EU National or
• EEA migrant worker who has been in the EU for past 3 years or
• 'Settled Status' – i.e. resident in the UK for at least 3 years or
• Spouse of UK citizen or person with settled status who has been both married and resident in the UK for 1 year
