Teacher touts "fun and job satisfaction" of job

Teaching can be a valuable experience for many and two 29-year-olds currently involved in the profession have commented on their working lives.

Shana Mozejko, who works in a specialist school for children with severe learning difficulties, told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph that the most valuable part of the job for her is the "fun and job satisfaction".

She stated: "I feel I am adequately paid for the work I do and the merits of working with such pupils goes some way towards contributing for any shortfall."

Also speaking to the paper, Orton Longueville School teacher Thomas Dwight, noted that the most important part of the job for him is to ensure that he is well prepared for his lessons, which can sometimes take up his free time.

He added: "The position of a teacher is deemed a highly respectable profession within the community, which takes years of development and training."

The Teaching Awards are currently taking place at 13 ceremonies touring across the UK, acknowledging the superb work of several teachers.
