New teaching support service announced
A new support service for those in the teaching profession has just been launched.
Offering school staff the opportunity to develop their skills in order to help them cope with a variety of issues that they face in everyday life, the Teacher Support Network service is entirely confidential.
Eight coaching programmes are on offer, which cover subjects including work-related issues, relationships at work, wellbeing and work-life balance.
This is the latest addition to online services that have been provided by the organisation for the past three years.
It is hoped that the new programmes will help meet the needs of teachers across the UK.
Patrick Nash, Teacher Support Network's chief executive, stated: "These new services
represent an even more effective way of giving teachers the help they need to deal with one of the UKs most challenging and important jobs."
A specially dedicated telephone helpline service was recently launched for school staff in Scotland by the body.
