Education adviser calls for dyslexic teaching advice
Government education adviser Sir Jim Rose has launched a new website to help investigate the best way in which to approach the teaching of pupils with dyslexia.
And he has invited teachers, parents and young people to comment on the issues they think need to be addressed.
Sir Jim stated that he is "eager" to find out the views of those with an interest in the topic, asking them to write personal accounts, share their experiences and note details of published research.
He will also be consulting a range of experts on the issue, he said.
The findings of the review are due to be published in February next year, Sir Jim added.
Children's minister Beverley Hughes recently announced that Sir Jim will be conducting a review of two literacy milestones laid out as part of the new Early Years Foundation Stage.
