Sheffield pupil wins Christmas card competition

Select Education, the UK's number one specialist education recruitment agency, has announced the winner of its annual Christmas card competition for schools across the UK. The lucky winner is 11-year old Megan Williams (pictured below) from Silverdale School in Bents Crescent, Sheffield.

Megan's card (pictured above) features a white Christmas scene, together with a three-dimensional snowman and accompanying dog.

John Dunn, Director of Marketing for Select Education, comments: 'We were very impressed by the originality of Megan's card and the attention to detail she has demonstrated in her work.'

The successful card design is being used as Select Education's own corporate Christmas card and Megan will receive a prize of 100 worth of WH Smith vouchers. In addition, she will also become the most popular girl in the classroom as Silverdale School also receives 1,000 copies of the winning card for taking part in the competition.
