SEN Sports Day In Hull
Seven Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, 120 children, medals, sunshine, eggs, spoons, sacks and races. It all adds up to this years Hull Sports Day for local SEN schools, which took place at Costello Stadium on the 13th July. The event, sponsored by education recruitment specialists Select Educations local office in Hull, went down with a bang. The day, helped by the spell of sunshine over the last week, gave all the children the chance to take part in traditional sports day games including track and field. It was also a great opportunity for the pupils to interact with the other schools competing, which included Brigeview, Northcott School, Teskey king School, Fredrick Holmes School, Tweendykes School and Kelvin Hall School. Lee Smith of Select Education's Hull office said 'It was fantastic to see all the pupils enjoy themselves so much. Select Education has worked closely with Bridgeview for its recruitment needs for many years, and it is now part of our Adopt a School programme. We were delighted to be able take part and support the day for Bridgeview and their neighbouring schools. Much find was had by all!'
