Specialist training day organised for 25 local teachers
Select Education's Bristol branch is organising a Special Educational Needs (SEN) training day for 25 local teachers and Learning Support Assistants on 11 March 2006 at The Bristol Folk House.
Organised by Josephine Dick, SEN Consultant for Select Education specialised in SEN specialist teachers and Learning Support Assistants registered with the Bristol office, the event will focus on the specific theme of Emotional Behaviour Difficulties (EBD) and will be delivered by Tracey Hopes, Senior Teaching Assistant from special needs school The Bristol Gateway.
Commenting on the event, Andrea Musty, Manager of Select Education's Bristol branch, says: 'EBD is a sensitive area that many teachers specialising in SEN teaching have to handle in their daily work. I feel that this training event will be a valuable experience for our candidates and will give them the additional skills to achieve success in SEN schools across the Bristol area.'
