Mayor opens leading teacher recruitment consultancy in central Milton Keynes

The first office in Milton Keynes for education recruitment consultancy, Select Education, has now opened. The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Brin Carstens, opened the office alongside Richard Gates from the office of Mark Lancaster, MP for central Milton Keynes, with an impressive turnout of both local teachers and schools.
As he opened the new office, which belongs to a national network of teacher recruitment consultancies across the UK, the Mayor commented: 'It is pleasing to welcome this leading educational staffing specialist to Milton Keynes, especially one experienced in serving over 10,000 teaching staff and 15,000 establishments at all levels, from nurseries through to colleges.
'Heart-warming too is the experience which this long-established enterprise brings to Milton Keynes, through its specialist teams of Early Years, Primary, Secondary and SEN consultants.
'The close association, working alongside DfES, and conducting educational research alongside the Institute of Public Policy Research, are special areas of expertise that Select Education brings to our local arena.'
Peter Flannery, managing director at Select Education adds: 'It's important for both schools and teachers to have close access to high-quality teaching staff from a trusted and expert source. Our education consultants have the real benefit of local knowledge coupled with the support of our national and global network, and it is this service that we bring to Milton Keynes and its surrounds.'
