Bob Wicks, Executive Chairman, wins Recruiter award for Outstanding Contribution

Executive Chairman of Select Education, Bob Wicks, has been awarded the Gary Clark Individual Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Recruitment Profession at the Recruiter Awards 2008.

Bob was selected by the Recruiter judging panel not only in recognition of the successes achieved by Select Education, market leader in education recruitment, but also for his contribution to education in the UK and indeed the education recruitment industry as a whole.

In addition to pioneering the private sector's involvement in teacher recruitment, Bob has also worked with the highest levels of government, the civil service, education policy makers, opinion formers and the Campaign for Learning, which he has supported for nine years in an endeavour to continue to raise the standards of the recruitment industry, and to actuate improvements across the education system to benefit both teachers and students alike.
