A poem for fantastic supply teachersTo be a fantastic Supply teacher you need to:Arrive on time to start your quest, Whatever you do just do your best. Meet the Headteacher and smile with grace, If you do just that, they'll think you're ace. Don't have your mobile on in the class, If it goes off, the students will grass. Stick to the plans as much as can be, The teacher you're covering will be happy you'll see. Smile sweetly at all in the staff room at lunch, I am sure that they really are a good bunch. If playground duty happens to fall your way, Just grimace and bear it and sunshine you'll pray. Arrive promptly for your afternoon lessons, Lots of encouragement and facial expressions. Makes sure at the end you stay for the bell, Don't leave the classroom before or..well.well..well. Last but not least the classroom I see, Must be left immaculately. Put pencils in pots and tuck the chairs in, Mark all the work, and leave no admin. Charlotte Paddy - Select Education Crawley Office
